His work NFT is one of the most recent sites he has created. It highlights the distrust shown by a number of net art stakeholders regarding the appearance of a new way of commercialising a field of creation where a significant part is built on concepts of universal access and sharing, and even has strong links with hacking culture. Critical of the explosion of the NFT market, which he presents as a regression in how artworks are commercialised, Claude Closky is offering a pretence of a sales platform with his work NFT. It is therefore a deliberately frustrating online shop, offering works of art of which no image is shown, and about which the only thing we know is that they have unfortunately already been sold.
