In the video Abspannmast NR. 53B, Roman Signer inflates a red balloon with helium. He then lets it rise inside the metal structure of an electric pylon, where, by the nature of things, its ascension is blocked. The preparatory drawing of the action, shown at the beginning of the tape, specifies its objective: a red balloon imprisoned at the top of a pylon in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
