Videogramme einer Revolution, 1992

Betacam SP, PAL, son, couleur

" If at the start of the Romanian revolt only one camera dared to film, the next day there were already a hundred. From the 21st of December 1989 (Ceausescu's last speech) to December 26th 1989 (first summary of his lawsuit on television) the events that unfolded in Bucharest's most important areas were almost all filmed.

We brought together these different documents with the intention of building a visual chronology of those days. The objective being to untangle all these images and to show the footage as if we could move from one camera to another, for five days, while remaining on the same roll of film.”
